In mid-July, I set off on a mini road trip to Columbus, Ohio to meet my friend Shelley from Cleveland. We used to meet every summer at Pokagon State Park with all the kids, but have not been able to work out everyone's schedule for a couple of years. This year, we decided to meet on our own and met halfway in Columbus. We stayed in the Easton area and spent 28 hours catching up with good food, good conversation, and pictures from the past.

Heading east. . . .
